31 DecResolutions – 2024

Well, well. The year went by SO FAST! A lot happened, for example, I finally got a diagnosis for my autoimmune condition and I went back to school. But, I am ashamed to say that I really did not get very far on my resolutions.

This year, I mean business. I have a lot to do.

Mind

1) read all the books on my Currently Reading List
2) Spanish lessons at least 5 times a week
3) keep up with the PhD work
4) make it to Church every week I am home
5) return to daily SAVERS (meditation, affirmations, vision, exercise, read, and journal)

Body

6) complete 75 hard for the year (this is a lot and will include daily workouts, walks, maintaining the specific carb diet my doc asked me to follow )

Fun

7) complete 12 of my knitting projects
8) finish painting the girl series
9) 4 trips away – one abroad, one with the kids, and 2 personal development
10) golf more
11) ride my bike more
12) paddleboard more
13) laugh more

Home

14) finish the workout room
15) decorate and remodel the master bedroom/bath

I think this oughta do it.

Let’s take a look at last year just for fun:

Mind

1) 1 hour of Spanish lessons EVERY DAY. – I can’t even say for certain I did one hour per month *sigh*
2) practice clarinet 3 times a week & join band – no
3) fully develop ELDS course/program – this one is a “sort of”

Body

4) incorporate movement into every day – no
5) avoid all food allergens – LOL
6) get the new tattoo(s) – I did get 1 new tattoo, but it is not “the” new tattoo…

Fun

7) paint the girl series for home and office – no…I started one, and I need to finish it
8) finish all 8 Christmas stockings before Christmas!! – Only because my mom helped ha ha
9) compete in a triathlon – I am not even sure why I put this here… LOL

Home

10) landscape the back yard this is actually in progress!!
11) complete the home project list (fix the little things…) – no
12) redecorate the master bedroom – no

This may be my most dismal year of sticking to resolutions. Ha!
