The Girl Who Played with Fire (Vintage)

The Girl Who Kicked the Hornet’s Nest

It was pretty hard to get into, but once I was in, I was hooked. As a lawyer, I found the trial pretty unbelievable. I can’t wait to find a Swedish lawyer to talk with and ask if that is really how they run their litigation.

Over all, I recommend the series to anyone who like mysteries.

Well then mine is coming true! The last two days, Pat and I have been at University of Washington with our oldest for orientation. It looks like it will be a ton of fun! Living in the dorms, hanging out with other students, maybe study abroad for a quarter or so…. I wish I could have done all that.

The bad news is that I got really sick. I was sick all day yesterday during the parent sessions and it got worse as the day went on. I really don’t have time to be sick.

I am turning into a total crochet convert! I love how fast you can finish something. I have so many great projects planned.

In other news, I finally got new tires for the Mini and I must say, they make a world of difference. It’s like my car has found new life. Wow!

I had a filing deadline to meet but my co-counsel was still working on her part. To complicate matters further, I had court and a deposition in the middle of it all. Court went fine. The deposition was going fine until the power went out in the middle of it! I couldn’t believe it…I had to go to a friend’s office to work on the papers.

I was able to get everything finished at the end of the day, but it was incredibly stressful.
