31 DecResolutions – How Did I do?

It’s the end of the year and time to see how I did on my resolutions…

For the Mind

1) read 102 books (increased from goal of 52 for previous years – read 67 in 2012 and 98 in 2013) – Way surpassed this by reading 140 books! Woop.
2) of those books, finish the BBC top 200 – Not quite, but I am almost there!
3) use the Rosetta Stone Spanish program purchased in 2013 but never opened and learn Spanish – Yeah, still haven’t opened it….
4) go to church more than once every three months and not just because I am scheduled in the nursery – did much better, I have been going pretty much weekly since October with my Momma

For the Body

5) lose this last 20ish pounds – Uhm, no.
6) commit to 5 hours a week at the gym even if I can’t make it to a class and have to come up with a workout on my own – Again, no. (but I did go sometimes!)
7) get the “grae” tattoo and maybe even the “twin” tattoo – 1 out of two isn’t so bad?

For Fun

8) go skydiving – Didn’t happen, but I talked about it 🙂
9) take the kids camping using tents and everything – Not even close…
10) knit from stash – Did knit up quite a bit from stash!
11) take line dancing lessons – Nope.

For the Home

12) use reusable grocery bags – Ha ha
13) purchase and install and organize overhead garage storage – no….
14) FlyLady daily – I did download an app….
15) finish photo albums – I’m going to consider this complete enough to cross it off
16) decorate living room with paint and art and maybe new furniture if possible – nuh, uh
17) get curtains for basement – my mom said she’d make them for my birthday present so, kind of complete, but I won’t cross it off until it happens
18) re-take and put into practice Financial Peace University – Never even looked at it.
19) do filing on a weekly basis – Not really weekly, but everything is filed for the year

Because 24 Seems Like a Good Number

20) start hardwood floor fund – Nope
21) use the drop spindles and roving I’ve collected and actually learn to make some yarn – and Nope
22) golf once a week during good weather – I golfed quite a bit this year, so I’ll consider that a complete
23) quit smoking (again – for real) – Yeah, no.
24) limit eating lunch out to once per week – Really, who was I kidding?
