20 Jultime flies again

Par for the course, weeks (months) have gone by and I haven’t posted.

I am stuck re-writing the pattern for the KAL sweater so I can go on with it. I don’t know why, but I can’t get it. Every one else has been finished for ages, and I am only through row 50something o the back!! Arg!!

I have been struggling with my weight loss and the fact that we can’t find a qualified paralegal for our office. These things make feeling like working on my site too hard.

19 AprGeorge Michael

!!!! the George Michael tickets came in the mail finally !!!! Whoo hoo! I remember being 14 or 15 and painting the garage with my friend Jeanne because we were trying to earn George Michael tickets. For some reason, we didn’t end up going? I wonder whatever happened to Jeanne?

Any how, still busy and still loving my car! I found a Mini Cooper car club to join: http://www.psmini.org/ Too much fun. I’ll be taking part in the Tulip Rallye on April 26th (http://www.mgccnwc.com/tulip.htm). I am just praying that it doesn’t snow.

I got a new purse that I absolutely love! Can’t take a picture because the teen-aged girl has my camera, but it’s one of the new Dooney & Bourke signature bags. Nice!

16 Apralready Spring!

I seriously don’t know where the time goes. It’s tax time and the weather is (somewhat) clearing up, the daffodils are in bloom and the tulips too… Pretty.

I’ve been really busy lately working hard on *sigh* work. Not a lot of time for knitting, but I have been reading like crazy. I finished almost all the Alex Cross books and the first 4 Artemis Fowl books. Whew!

The best news is I got a new car! I LOVE it. It’s a 2004 Mini Cooper.

2004 Mini

02 FebWhoa!

I cannot believe how much time has passed since I blogged! Yikes! Well, now I am back and I knitting again. Today, I really did re-start my KAL and it’s going to be beautiful. I am going to give it to my mom for a late birthday present. I had a nice talk with the dog and told her she’d be in big trouble it she ate it. She has been pretty good about not ruining my things (or I’ve been pretty good about not leaving my things about) except she did eat a double pointed needle this week.

I am on row 9, so only 36 more to go until I am mostly done with the back. 🙂

I’ll post some photos soon.

28 Octfingerless gloves

I never thought I’d be making fingerless gloves, because quite frankly, I think they’re goofy; but, my daughter plays the clarinet and it’s marching band season so I’d thought I’d make her some.

In other news, I finally figured out what that song is from the iPod commercials and I downloaded it. Woo hoo! So…what’s playing on your iPod right now? Mine is playing “1234” by Feist.

PS: I still haven’t re-started the kimono wrap. I couldn’t get the yarn my dog tore off the needles re-wound, and I’ve just been too sad. Maybe I can start it after the gloves?
