I didn’t think I’d have time to read a lot this year, so I set my goal low… But, I somehow pulled off 79 books! That was pretty good, I think.
My top 3 would have to be:
1) Rushing Woman Syndrome. I LOVED this book. It was one of those books where I found myself reflected in the pages and I have been recommending it to everyone
2) The Storied Life of AJ Fickery. This was a fun and cute story. I did not see the twist coming.
3) The Things They Carried. This sat on my “currently reading” list so long that I had to start it over. I hated it when I first started reading it, but for some reason, it made a lot of sense 8 years later….
Time I will never get back:
1) This is Your Brain on Parasites. Normally I am all for a good parasite, but I did not need to read this.
2) Straight Talk. After reading this, I honestly cannot figure out why Joyce Meyers is so popular…
3) Find Your Unicorn Space. WTAF? I like the premise, but I wanted to throat punch her by the end of the book.
